South Wales's industrial history is celebrated at this revealing site, one of Europs's best preserved 18th century ironworks located in the former iron and coal producing town of Blaenavon.
The famous ironworks at Blaenavon were a milestone in the history of the Industrial Revolution. Visitors can view much of the ongoing conservation work as well 'stack square'- a rare survival of houseing built for pioneer ironworkers.
