Cottrell Park is home to one of the finest Cardiff golf courses. Set just outside the city in the beautiful, lush Vale of Glamorgan, it has first class facilities for golfers of all levels, and for non-golfers too. It's just outside the city, and quiet enough to feel like the countryside but still very easy to get too. It's just a few minutes from the major junction at Culverhouse Cross and little more from the M4. Cottrell Park golf includes no less than 36 holes spread over superbly landscaped grounds. There are two courses developed to Championship standards, state-of-the-art golf simulators, putting greens, and a training fairway. In short, there is everything a golfer could want for a pleasant afternoon game or for serious training to improve his or her game.

The clubhouse at Cottrell Park welcomes visitors and is well-known for good food at surprisingly low prices. It's something of a favourite with the locals- even those who've never picked up a golf club. There are frequently special offers and the attractive buildings fit perfectly into the rural, garden feel of the golf courses. Staff are friendly and welcoming, whether visitors are experienced golfers, complete beginners, or just after a good meal and a drink in pleasant surroundings. You don't have to be carrying clubs to enjoy Cottrell Park, but if you are, you won't be disappointed.
