Techniquest

Good for Museums & Art Galleries

Where can you launch a rocket, sink an oil rig, move half a ton of granite and still have the energy for a spot of stargazing? Techniquest, the hands-on science centre in Cardiff Bay.

There are more than 120 interactive hands on exhibits across two floors at this waterfront centre - all ready to give the little grey cells a bit of a work out!

Techniquest is popular with families... but it's by no means just for the children. There's plenty to challenge and entertain adults too, including chunky puzzles, musical exhibits and a low light area.

There's also a Science Theatre - with shows for schools during term time and events for all the family at other times - and a Planetarium, where you can see and learn about the stars.
