Enjoy interactive exhibitions telling the story of our World Heritage Site. Visit the Art Gallery, Café, TIC and Gift Shop. Regular events throughout the year.
Situated in a former school built by the Ironmasters in the early 19th century, the Centre has a programme of exhibitions, events and educational activities all year round. Heritage Cafe, gift shop and art gallery. Interactive screens tell the story of the World Heritage Site.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday: 9:00 - 5:00 April to September.
Tuesday to Sunday: 9:00 - 4:00 October to March.
Open Bank Holiday Mondays.
Closed Christmas Eve to New Years Day.
Admission charges: Free admission. Small charge for some events and exhibitions (contact us for details).
