Opening hours: March to October. Mon - Sat: 11am - 1pm/2pm - 5pm. Sunday 2pm - 5pm. Nov to Feb. Mon - Sat: 11am - 1pm/2pm - 4pm. Sunday closed.

Admission charges: FREE for all! Charges apply to some special events. Groups are very welcome. (No coach parking). If possible, please let us know in advance.

Accessibility:

Limited access with some assistance needed. Disabled toilet. Short walk/ramp to museum.

Getting here

By road:

The Museum is close to the centre of the town. Enter Abergavenny on the A40 and follow the brown museum signs.

Parking:

Parking is available within the castle grounds.

Public transport:

Bus services X3 and X4 from Cardiff and Hereford. The museum is 5 minutes walk from the bus station, which is next to the T.I.C. Also, the museum is 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Tel: Traveline 0870 608 2 608.
